1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Kids Math Pup Tutor ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App. If you are a parent or guardian downloading this App for your child, you agree to these Terms on behalf of your child.

2. Description of Service

Kids Math Pup Tutor is a free educational mobile application designed to help children in Kindergarten through Grade 2 practice basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Features Include:

• Math practice exercises with adaptive difficulty
• Mini-games (Math Race, Memory Match)
• Achievement badges and progress tracking
• Daily streak tracking
• Audio and haptic feedback
• Accessibility features

3. Intended Users

This App is designed for:

• Children ages 5–8 (Kindergarten through Grade 2)
• Parents and guardians supervising children's learning
• Teachers supplementing classroom instruction

Children should use this App under adult supervision as appropriate for their age.

4. License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

• Download and install the App on your personal device(s)
• Use the App for personal, non-commercial educational purposes

5. Restrictions

You agree NOT to:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
• Use the App for any commercial purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's systems
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws

6. Intellectual Property

Our Property

The App and its contents, including but not limited to:

• Source code and software
• Graphics, images, and animations
• Sound effects and music
• Text and user interface design
• The "Math Pup" character and mascot

are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your Content

Any data you enter into the App (such as names) remains yours. We do not claim ownership of user-entered data.

7. Privacy

Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect and use information. Key points: we store minimal data locally, analytics are optional and anonymized, and we do not collect personal information from children.

8. No Advertisements

The App does not contain:

• Banner advertisements
• Video advertisements
• Sponsored content
• Native advertising
• Any form of paid promotion

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• MERCHANTABILITY
• FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
• NON-INFRINGEMENT
• ACCURACY OF CONTENT

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Defects will be corrected
• The App is free of viruses or harmful components
• The results from using the App will be accurate

10. Updates and Termination

We may update or discontinue the App at any time. We may also terminate access for users who violate these Terms.

11. Educational Disclaimer

The App is intended as a supplementary educational tool. We make no guarantees regarding:

• Educational outcomes or improvements
• Academic performance
• Suitability for any specific curriculum
• Accuracy of mathematical content (though we strive for accuracy)

The App is not a substitute for professional education, tutoring, or intervention services.

12. Children's Safety

We are committed to children's safety:

• No social features or communication with strangers
• No external links to websites or other apps
• No access to device features beyond what's necessary
• No collection of personal information
• Content appropriate for ages 5 and up

Parents should supervise their children's use as appropriate.

13. Updates and Modifications

We may:

• Update the App to fix bugs or add features
• Modify these Terms at any time
• Discontinue the App at any time

Significant changes to these Terms will be communicated through app update release notes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of new Terms.

14. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

• Remove the App from app stores
• Discontinue service without notice
• Restrict access if these Terms are violated

Upon termination, your license to use the App ends immediately.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable:

• That provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary
• Remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App. Any prior agreements or understandings are superseded by these Terms.

18. No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please uninstall the App and discontinue use.
